It was very refreshing and touching to see him actually be emotionally supportive when they found out there was only one baby.

I think for him on camera that's a lot. And there was no bar to be set because he's been completely emotionally vacant. IMO this was a huge display on his part.

You bring up a very good point. Sometimes I do find myself wondering how much of his behavior - or, more to the point, lack thereof - is due to the cameras being there. My gut tells me he's emotionally unavailable - and a jerk - but, ultimately, I haven't a clue. share
He held her hand, said a few "It's okay." and "Hey, Hey, Hey" and "I love you" and something that totally brought tears to my eyes, "There's still one in there who wants you to be it's mom." - That's really sweet.
I'm sorry, but I have to give Jimmy some credit. He was there for his wife and did the best he could under the circumstances.

shareHaha. Jimmy is the least loving or supportive husband on the show. He clearly doesn't want to be around Meghan. I'm sure off camera he was jumping for joy that Meghan is only expecting one child.

I agree. I was surprised by the way he comforted Megan. You can tell he is not thrilled by being on the show and seems uncomfortable by the intrusion of the cameras in their lives. I have never liked Jimmy but I was glad he was there to comfort Megan.

shareI agree, especially his comment like "there is 1 baby in there excited to have you as a mother"--it was a really sweet thing to say at that point, and to re-direct to the positive of the day.
