I cannot stand Vicki, and respected Shannon's stance of not desiring a friendship with her.
Now, out of the blue, there is Shannon, buddying up to Vicki, acting like all is forgiven.
Gives some steam to the theory that Vicki has dirt on Shannon, and told her to play nice or she will spill it.
Or she could be cozying up to her to see just what Vicki has on her. Who knows? We're talking about two highly dysfunctional individuals who, for the most part, seem incapable of stable or rational thought.
Shannon is ok enough when she is calm, but she can go from robotic to neurotic in 2 seconds.
Vicki is defined by her lies, so I would not believe for one second a claim that she has dirt on anyone, even if she had video proof. She just spent an entire season crafting a lame cover-up, the lamest ever, and she claims that Shannon is no angel?
These story lines have jumped an ocean full of sharks.

I feel bad saying this but I hope it comes out at some point. If Vicki spends the entire season and reunion saying "she has a secret" but never shares I'll go crazy. RHOBH always has major storylines thathe take place off camera and it drives me nuts. I come to the OC to see it all put out there so Vicki better spill. Nothing against Shannon...just want some dirt.
shareShannon was acting like a child during Megan's party. I'm not really Vicki's biggest fan, but Vicki said repeatedly she did not want to get into a discussion during the party and Shannon kept pushing it.
The correct thing to do when someone says "I don't want to discuss this here" is to accept it, move on, and reach out at a later date and time if you'd like to have the conversation.
I don't think Vicki should have responded but I can at least slightly understand why she did, given Shannon wouldn't drop it.
The big moments are gonna come. You can't help that. It's what you do afterwards that counts.
I agree. I am not a fan of Vicki, but she said to Tamra the party was not the appropriate place to have the discussion and it wasn't.

shareI think that's at least part of it regardless, she doesn't want to be the only one who seems like they still have a stick up their ass about Vicki since most of the other women have moved on and are at least surface level friends with her.

Seems to me Shannon just feels if she publicly seems to get along with Vicki, things will be better for all involved. It's just for appearances, in my opinion. I don't think that friendship will ever be repaired, nor do I think Shannon fears Vicki. She DID invite her to spill the beans at the candle party.
Even then, Vicki continued to call David a pig and a piece of excrement. She is filthy and disguting.

Another thought is that since Vicki is the OG of OC, that Shannon doesn't want to make her mad and be at risk for losing her place on this show. I forget what David's does but the income from this show should at least put college dosh away for their kids and yes I know they just sold their home for 9 million and shouldn't have any financial issues at all !! No one would want Vicki to be an enemy. She will go to extremes and IMO can't be trusted. Vicki even seems now to be willing to profit off of others misfortune (The cancer charity). No, better to lay low with Vicki. Her wrath could be like a hurricane.

She had a really bad last season and is doing damage control this year, so I doubt Bravo is worried about who she will and will not work with. They will keep her, only because it makes for good drama to watch her grovel and be the one that the viewers love to hate. Zero credibility.

"A useful idiot." That is hilarious. The trouble is that Vicki has no boundaries. She is a narcissistic fool who never looks in the mirror except to make certain her sagging bust is showing. She has already compared herself to Jesus and said she has never done anything wrong. Don't forget, Donn "took her money", and got her other house. David supposedly approached HER at the '70's party. Brooks admitted he lied about cancer and she is still claiming he had cancer. She let her sick daughter drive from OK to CA. At the filming of her so-called cancer charity commercial she called "cut,that's a wrap," the moment her lines ended so she would have control.
Those are just a few of the things that indicate Vicki believes herself to be in control of everything. She likely isn't in control at Bravo, but I bet she thinks she is.

I've noticed that you can tell where Andy and Bravo are going with these women by the editing and the questions at the reunion. This year on the RHONYC reunion, Bethenny took a beating with some of the questions Andy was asking, something he wouldn't have done in years past. I think she's on the outs with him. The same thing seems to be happening with Vicki, the editing is making her look really, really bad, especially when she says something and Bravo immediately shows a clip which proves she's lying. It's kind of funny to watch.

The latest episode showed the trickster stating she doesn't know why her friends interfere or comment about her "men" and immediately Bravo showed her up close and personal with Tamra having a come to Jesus meeting with her about Simon, as if she was her pastor (or pasture, according to Tamra.) Next we were shown a couple more clips of Vicki criticizing other housewive's men. That was cringeworthy but funny at the same time.
Vicki has the most convenient memory. Just like Jesus, she never does anything wrong.

Good point! Recent editing has not been complementary for Vicki . Andy Cohen seemingly dislikes when the women's egos get too big. I hope he has seen the writing on the wall with Vicki and gives her the boot.
Vicki insinuating that she has pull with the producer's and has urged them to fire her cast mates and hire Briana is ludicrous considering the dislike she has generated for herself over the Brooks' cancer lies and her pseudo charity.
I'm not so sure about that. I remember when the affair came out 2 seasons and all the girls were surprised and come to find out that Vicky had known for awhile about it, b/c Shannon had confided in her and told her stuff about it. She never once said anything to the other ladies about her knowing about the affair. I do think there are times when Vicky will can keep a secret. I honestly don't know if she has anything on Shannon but its very possible.
