Hmmm....think that you are onto something there. Yes, it was very rude. She seemed more like an actor at craft services or the food truck waiting for her call when she then becomes the star of the show. Wow. I felt badly for the gentleman, that opened his farm, only to get rude, screaming women with no appreciation for what he does or did, to try and give them a wonderful unique experience. Entitled is a good description for her. I would have felt honored to be invited to one of Bailey's suppliers, been able to get up close to the herd that produces the cream, and have a catered picnic lunch. Steak no less. That he went to the best butcher (in his opinion, but he'd know better than I) in Ireland to get them those steaks...that are probably costly. Usually a real treat for him and his family...he shared it and got no appreciation. Since Heather thinks that her manners are impeccable somebody needs to tell her that she skipped the page that reads it is rude to keep your head buried in a phone during a meal that somebody else is hosting for your benefit.
If it was an emergency situation with one of her children she should have excused herself from the table, stepped aside and handled it.
