If Heather is in her mid 50s then she looks fantastic! Even if she has had work done which usually makes a person look a lot worse! I agree that Shannon looks like her daughters grandmother instead of mother. It's her jawline, her neck and her stout body that make her look old. If she is 62 then she looks good for her age lol

shareI don't think Shannon looks bad for her age, especially in the talking heads segments. I do think she carries herself like an older woman, kinda frumpus :) How you carry yourself can play into how old you apear to others. And she probably seems more like a grandma to her daughters because she clearly had her children much later in life than the norm. If she had had her kids in her early/ mid 20s, she would indeed be old enough to be a grandma to kids their age.
shareI don't think Shannon is unattractive. She has a nice face...but her personality is so heinous that you don't see that when you look at her. She's just so mean-spirited and looney-tunes that it makes her ugly.
sharei think that the makeup that these woman wear ages them considerably. there was one scene where shannon was not wearing any makeup and she looked a lot younger.
shareI so agree about the makeup! They'd all look better and younger without the clown faces. Either emphasize the eyes or the lips, but when you wear eye shadow, bright lipstick and gobs of blush, you end up looking like a tart and an old one at that.
Shannon looks haggard. No one wishes to look like her at 52.
shareI don't think Shannon looks that old. She looks her age, and will look a bit less so if/when she takes off those menopausal pounds she's recently put on. She had a very good point when she told Kelly that Kelly could only wish to look that good at 52 without any artificial enhancements. Kelly's already got weirdness going on with those big fake choppers of hers. I'd rather look like a real person my age than look like some kind of bizarre-o plastics explosion, which is what happens to so many of these women.
