Who is Shannon trying to convince?... (Pathetic)

Who is Shannon trying to convince with her transparent charade of a happy marriage and happy life? The viewers or herself? I know I'm certainly not buying it. This woman is so desperate and pathetic. "My husband renewed his vows to me... AND he thought of it all himself! We couldn't be happier! I have never been this happy in my entire life!" Whats even more pathetic, is her proclaiming this (asking for reassurance) to David on camera. "We have never been better.. We have never been more happy. Our marriage is great. We have great kids, I love our house. I cant wait for our future..." And he's standing there glazed over eyes, frozen smile, nodding.... PATHETIC!

If Shannon wants to convince everyone she is so happy, she needs to stop talking about and obsessing over it 24/7. Watching her pretend to be so happy, when its obvious she is so miserable, is nauseating.

If you are happy and fulfilled, you just exist in your happiness-- you don't aggressively try to convince everyone how happy you are!

Agreed. Happy people don't need to keep repeating how happy they are and how great things are. It's odd.

The big moments are gonna come. You can't help that. It's what you do afterwards that counts.
