I just started watching this show on Netflix and it has such a 30 Rock vibe.
It should. A lot of the people behind the show are doing this one. Tina Fey is exec. producer.
It almost feels like a spin-off, even though it's not. Jane Krakowski is in it, in a Jenna similar role. Ellie Kemper from The Office and Bridesmaids is the central character, and she's easy to like.

You forgot one important point: Tina and several of her 30 Rock writers also WRITE for the show, according the credits: Robert Carlock, Jack Burditt.
It definitely has the feel, writing-wise but it's a different tone so it's original and new as well.
I would love to watch Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt but that would mean subscribing to Netflix. I know its prices are only $7.99 to $11.99 a month but my internet is sometimes spotty so getting Netflix right now would not the best option for me. I guess I have to wait until the series is released on DVD.
