I was fine with Pete, but all of the writers annoyed me. Also, it's weird how both the third actors on TGS (behind Jenna and Tracy) randomly disappeared.

Worst character? I dunno...I think Hazel is up there. Just too far out on the limb. Didn't hate her but she didn't add anything interesting.

No major character stands out to me as deserving the label "worst." Pete was up-and-down over the run of the show. He had his moments. Josh was left half-created, but that doesn't mean he was a bad character.

Probably Angie. I'm not a big Sheri Shepherd fan (although I did like the 2nd "Queen of Jordan" episode very much)

I loved Pete. And I agreed with Jack that if he had had a full head of hair he would have been the complete package and a "leader of men". Personally I find him just as attractive with that bald head.

The fast forward button is my best friend whenever Paul or Paul and Jenna appear.

Oh yeah, and that Kabletown boss who gives long hugs and smiles while he is mad at you? Not my kind of crazy. Gives me the creeps.

Also I love Patti LuPone as Frank's mom in that episode that parallels "Harry and the Hendersons". One of the great episodes IMO.

Jonathan is my least favorite character BY FAR. I may seem a bit too emotionally invested in a fictional character, but the way he treated Liz was awful. I know everyone was condescending or downright insulting towards her, but more often than not it came from an underlying sense of love and concern (Jack, Pete to a certain degree) or was so obviously exaggerated for comedic purposes (Tracy, Jenna, the writing staff). I guess you can say Jonathan was just as exagerrated, but he just comes off as so unnecessarily hateful compared to the others.

Never cared for Danny, though that's the fault of not developing him enough. Angie never really did anything for me, either.

And I have to say, I really love Pete. The scene where he's stuck in the vending machine and realizes he's dialed his own extension is maybe my favorite scene in the entire series.

I hated Hazel too, but I guess I'm talking more about actual long-term cast members.

And even though Pete is less one-dimensional than other characters, it still doesn't make him interesting! LOL.

Definitely Hazel. They never really tied up her story line with her stalking Liz or anything. She just won 50 million dollars and then disappeared.

Also I didn't like her craziness, it was too out there even for 30 Rock.

I'll never understand the Hazel dislike, who is definitely one of my most favorite recurring characters. She blended perfectly into Fey's universe as the over-ambitious, tactless and morally corrupt young girl ready to make her dreams of stardom come true no matter at what cost. In other words, she made Jenna and Tracy seem like decent folks you'd want to hang out with. And Schaal's top-notch acting just sold the character for me; her adorable looks being in complete contrast to her personality made her all the more interesting.

Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose.

Least favorite character is Hazel - by a landslide.

Her arc was brief, but Diane Jessup (Avery's mother played by Mary Steenburgen) didn't work for me at all.

I like Pete a lot. Go Hornberger!

I agree! I love Hazel. Plus I love Kristen Schaal,

As for worst character... I really don't have one. There were a couple that were in a couple episodes that were annoying, like when Jack dated Phoebe, the women with the avian bone syndrome. But no main or frequent cast members.

Hazel by a mile. Kristen Schaal was basically just playing the same character she did in Flight of the Conchords. Although Phoebe (with the hollow bird bones) came in a real close second.

On reading that back maybe crap was too strong a word. It just seemed to me that he wasn't all that into Liz and was a bit insensitive to her feelings for him. Especially when he got drunk and started going on about how much better his fiance was than her.

Also, when Liz told him that she pretended to be an alcoholic to get close to him I think he didn't need to shout at her in the way he did.

It was her fault but he didn't know that before he started kicking off. I know it's only a minor quibble for a character, but he just rubbed me he wrong way.

I have to say, I totally agree with you. I think what really irked me about this character was that, despite knowing how Liz felt about him, he still allowed her to get pulled into his wedding day by his fiancee. I mean, come on, he KNEW that would hurt her but he just let it happen, talk about rubbing it in her face that he chose someone else over her. All he had to do was take his fiancee aside and tell her, no, he didn't think it was a good idea, saving Liz the embarrassment of having to go through being a part of his wedding.

Are you serious? Liz didn't just pretend to be an alcoholic to "bond" with him, she pretended to be an alcoholic to attend AA meetings with him, where he divulged his most personal, private thoughts and feelings. AA is supposed to be a safe place where you can talk with kindred spirits. Floyd said himself that he told the group (i.e. Liz) things that he's never even told his best friend. Pete was totally right in that episode, Liz pretending to be an alcoholic was absolutely terrible. I'm surprised Floyd even wanted to date Liz after that.

She was clearly in the wrong but she was very apologetic in that scene and seemed to acknowledge that it was a mistake to do that. I dunno, he just seemed too aggressive to me in the way he responded. He got right up in her face.

I wasn't too crazy about Pete, either.

I loved Lutz, Toofer, and Frank. I liked the female writer a lot as well.

I didn't like Floyd much, but he was nowhere near as bad as Matt Damon. At least Floyd said some funny things, like when he said his new gf was better bc she's BLONDE and when he described Liz's face as a "badger." Hahaha that was so funny and mean.

Umm, I normally do not like the woman for Angie, but I have to admit she was funny in the show. And I loved the Queen of Jordan episodes.

I think Hazel is getting a bit too much hate. I mean, I generally did not like her, either, but she was funny enough to be on the show. There were many times she made me laugh out loud. Like that phone call to Liz's office that was a military signal.
