Does The Term Prosecutorial Misconduct Ring Anyone's Bell?
Hey folks,
We just finished watching the final series episode, and I was most surely incensed with it. How any reasonable and prudent person could possibly condone what several members of the prosecution did to an innocent person and his family is beyond me. I fully expected several of the prosecutors to quit their jobs and blow the whistle on what their office had done, but no, the episode ended with all the members celebrating their lives at their local pub.
This was not the first episode which featured prosecutorial misconduct, but this last episode was the worst for me. Prosecutorial misconduct is another form of abuse of power which can and does take place in all areas of our lives. It can happen anywhere from the White House to your own local McDonalds, and I wish we as human beings would reject and fight such conduct whenever possible.
I realize I am ranting, but this episode and this whole series has simply been too depressing for me. The stories in this series had no redeeming value for me.
Best wishes,
