Apparently raunchy moron humor is the formula for remakes!

When you're a Hollywood screenwriter with ZERO imagination, you turn to raunchy moron humor. Apparently morons still laugh at dick jokes and awkward homophobic moments! "He he he! Hey Bevis! He said dick!" So why not develop your own moron characters, and model them after Bevis & Butthead? Aren't you able to do that?? Why turn officers Poncherello & Baker into Bevis & Butthead? Haven't you learned yet? Didn't "I Spy", Starsky & Hutch", "The Green Hornet", "Dark Shadows", "Ghostbusters" and all the other remakes that used the moron formula, teach you a lesson? Or is it that you just don't have the imagination to think of your own ideas? Is destroying a classic TV show or movie just easier than stirring the creative juices? Or is that action more like stirring an empty glass? That's what it feels like! Will the Six Billion Dollar Man and Billy Jack be morons too? I won't see "chips" (lower case was intentional) in the theater. I won't purchase it when it hits DVD two months after it's released! If someone who was dumb enough to buy it, loans it to me I might watch it, just to confirm that it's as bad as I think it'll be. I did that with Ben Hur and Ghostbusters, and I was right not to waste my money. I'm pretty sure chips will be a waste too!
