70's or 'Current'??

are they going to make this "updated" like Dukes or keep it 70's like Starsky and Hutch?

better keep in 70s like "Starsky & Hutch" "CHiPS" seem to have the same quirky feel as "S & H" anyways in the day... I liked "S & H" (the movie) and think I would like "CHiPS" if they did it that way.

I really hope that they keep it set in the 70's. It is a HUGE part of the CHiPs charm.

Futuristic would be best.

They could fly on those thingies and they could use nightvision and pretend to have all the citizens chipped and intercept brain waves...I can't wait.

It's current, but it would have been pretty funny if they'd done it like the Brady Bunch remake, where Ponch & Jon were their 70s selves in the modern day.
