I just saw the documentary last night. Ed and Lorraine Warren were the investigators for this case and declared that the fireplace was the gateway to hell. Wow! The Northeast must be one hellish place if there are two gateways to hell there. I mean one in the "red room" in the basement in Amityville and one in the fireplace in Connecticut. How many other gates to hell have these two pronounced?

Yes, they really are old frauds and near-fundamentalist Christians to boot. They do not claim that hauntings - questionable anyway - are the work of dead humans, but that of demons. Ridiculous.

And note that no matter what case they investigate, Christianity is the only measure they use, the only truth. I loathe the Warrens, they just exploit weaker people.
