Ok seriously, what happened?

Did this movie come straight out on DVD?
And if so why did I see it last year on TNT?

I think it was a TV movie, wasn't it? Then went to DVD...

He had a heart that couldve held the empire of the world & he had to content himself with a cellar

Interesting. I didn't see it on TV, but I thought the opening credits had kind of a "Movie of the Week" made-for-TV kind of feel. I thought the movie itself was more of a theatrical work, but the opening credits (maybe they credited an associate producer?) did give me that TV feeling.

Somewhere mid-shooting somebody (Pierce?) decided they weren't going to release it. Don't know why.... maybe not up to what everyone was expecting?? It had a showing in Florida at a film festival (I think for one day), then went to TNT (who mutilated it with 9billion commercials and the stupid "up next on "Shattered" previews).

Wow.
Confusing.
Well I saw it on TNT last summer and it was pretty stupid.
Even though Gerard was lovely eye candy for a couple hours =D
I really hate how they made him have an American accent though. Grrr....
