Horrible movie - in a good way?

That's what I reckon anyway. This movie was really good at making you feel horrible inside, and for quite a lot of it, that was fine with me. I mean, this guy thought his life had just gone down the drain in a matter of 24 hours or less. The whole film is based around making him, and thus the audience, feel bad. It certainly worked. Some excellent twists towards the end - Pierce Brosnan is scarily good at being the most cold-hearted bastard ever. And I guess his character has good reason. Bravo. The worst part of the entire film is when Gerard Butler is pressing the gun against his mistress' head at Brosnan's house. You feel so bad that he might actually shoot her. My stomach was in knots the entire time. Still a good movie though! Weird that a film could be good when its all about making you feel terrible. Ha, oh well.

Oh i totally agree, especially about Pierce, i thought he was terrific in this movie, but Butler and Bello, i thought were pretty awful and cheesey. I found the movie semi disturbing and comical at the same time, and there was some good suspense and nice lil twists.
I need to constantly post on IMDB/yes i am a loser.
