If you like good movies and you are capable of keeping up with accurate dialogue, quirky characters (based, no doubt, on real people) who share conversations that aren't slowed down to sound like Hallmark cards - then you will like this film. Everyone else, wont.

You call this a good movie ? Based on what ? No plot, no character development, no beginning no end .. dialogues are boring as hell ! I swear to god ... Uwe Boll looks like a good director after seeing this crap.

shareI think that was part of it. They poked fun at how ridiculous, phoney and benign most of what goes on in that town is. Take the funeral scene for example: the majority of the turn-out was only there for selfish and shallow reasons rather than to pay "respect". "Think not about what film is saying but what is isn't saying and it will help you to enjoy film better."

To be honest, I save that for real life. I go to the movies to be entertained. Now, I don't mind a movie making you think, but if I have to get what ISN'T in the movie to like it.....nah. (to me, Gran Torino is a recent example. At first viewing, it came off as superficial and I wasn't too impressed, but the more I thought about it afterwords, it struck me as having several different levels and I consider it one of the best films I've seen in this short year)
