Good movie, check it out!

This movie just opened here (Tulsa) 2 days ago and I saw it today ... and was really glad I saw it.

This movie is the perfect depiction of what might be called the "Hollywood story" or "Hollywood myth." I have no idea whether Hollywood is really like this or not, but this is really, truly, the mythic Hollywood all of us mortals know and love through EW and People and longstanding imaginations of thousands and thousands of moviegoers.

The Hollywood we see here is delivered through a crisp, non-stop storyline carried with a fast, non-stop pace that keeps everything moving and dodging and giving from beginning to end. I just plain loved it. The script is great, the humor wicked, the scenes fascinating, the cast super, the delivery excellent.

If you like movies about the movies, movies about Hollywood, this movie is for you. Enjoy.

6/10
I totally agree with you! It was the "Hollywood fuzz" we don't get to see normally. Those who don't like this movie just don't understand it.. rate it 3/10 and then post a new thread about "This movie was so boring". Can't you just post in an old thread just like it?
Whether DeNiro was right or wrong for the role I don't know. I think this movie was very interesting to watch if you're in for the movie industry. After watching this movie ask yourself.. what would you have done if you were the director Jeremy Brunell (Michael Wincott) about the dog thing and what would you have done if you were Bruce Willis casting for the other picture!?

SPOILERS

I would kill the dog! It was so genius even if I don't know what the movie was about. And the way the director (Michael Wincott) flipped when he was told that they would take the movie away from him otherwise. "THE DOG HAS TO DIE!" :) Oh it's so true.
Well about Bruce.. why is everyone expecting this bald, bloody, yippie ki-yay MF saying guy from him? Why can't he have a Grizzly Adams beard. Haha!
The producers (Robert DeNiro) family life/ex-wife/marrige counseling situation was a overkill in my opinion. It was too stereotype for the producer. I quess it's the price to pay for a successful producer career.
