Very good film on the pains of working in hollywood... why all the hate?

I thought with the universal hate for the film, i'd dislike it as well, but i saw it tonight and it was actually pretty great. de niro hasnt given a good performance in a long time, but he perfectly captures what its like to be a film producer in hollywood with different people to deal with; actors, agents, directors, ex wives, kids, etc. perhaps its because most people are not involved in the industry, so they have no idea how insane it is, and so they couldnt really relate to the characters and story. i enjoyed the film... i have an idea of what the business is like., and "what just happened" was pretty spot on i must say.

I liked this movie too. I didn't think it was laugh out loud funny like it was made out to be though. The only thing that annoyed me about this movie was the stomach thing the one agent had played by John Turturro.

My goal in life is to have my own IMDB page :P

De Niro was very good, and Bruce Willis was pretty funny, but that's about it. They wandered around hoping something would happen, and it never really did...

I liked this movie but to be truthful I thought Bruce Will was the weakest link. His belligerent attitude didn't come across as genuine. They should have used another high profile actor.

Pattinson is ridiculously hot

have to agree, just saw it - and liked it... some scenes were just too funny and i was laughing really hard.

de niro was good, loved his character, bruce willis was good and i loved the fact that they covered a lot of topics! i think hollywood's top 10 problems :)
