Miscasting

I was not a fan of this film. There are very few films about the industry that I enjoy. They, like this one, are mostly told from the point of views of writers or producers who think that what they do is more interesting than it actually is.

That being said, I think that with another actor in the lead, this would have been at least a little better. Robert DeNiro was excellent in Wag the Dog, so I think the producers of this one felt he might be able to pull this character off. Not so. The dialogue is not written for an actor like him.

This one was a stinker, but it failed mostly in the casting. Shame shame.

I'm not normally a praying man, but if you're up there, please save me Superman!
