I streamed this movie from Netflix so there were no special features, what was the alternate ending? If your talking about one to the actual movie.

Looks like not many watched the alternate ending. That shows how movie "Fiercely" was a huge world wide success and how the Katherine Keener character was basking in glory and things were looking up for everyone.
I have a preference to the alternate ending as it's more in line with the dark satire and irony that were the main themes to the movie rather than playing to poigancy of the back story of the DVD ending .
BTW, I liked the movie, much better than IMDB rating. But I have something of a quirky sense of humor.
