I have to admit I'm a sucker for human-non human love story plot lines, and in Stardust it came out of the blue (I had not read the book before, nor did I imagine the story would be going this way), which made it extra special for me :)
So, besides it being a well-written, well-played out adventure/fantasy/comedy, it had this extra bit of greatness about it. I totally loved it!

shareI agree, this is one of my favorite top fantasy movies! By that, I'm not including any scifi. But I would recommend Peter Pan (2003), Excalibur (1980), & LOTR Special Edition, Ladyhawke, & Princess Bride.

I really liked the part from the beginning to right before the end credits.
shareThe part I love the most is the ending which is so quintessentially fairy tale ending. It gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. Something thats missing from the vast majority of films.
