The scene where Ron Jeremy appears to offend Miss Manners to the point where she gets up and walks away seems phony. It seemed edited to make it look like it took place. Does anyone know if this exchange really happened?
shareOf course it never happended. All the interviews (except for Evan Seinfeld and Tera Patrick) were filmed seperatly and then edited together to appear as if they were debating. However, the Miss. Manners/Ron Jeremy segement is probablly not too far off from what would actually happen if they did meet in a dark, windowless room.
shareOddly enough, "Miss Manners" is my Godmother/cousin, and I can tell you that she did actually leave. I haven't talked about this with her (I just saw this film yesterday) but I would guess they read her a transcript or they showed her a vid of Ron talking.
But either way, it is something she does. If she gets offended, she leaves. It's not a snobby thing, it's just her way of saying "you knowingly offended me, and rather than get on a soap box about it, I'll just leave. Have a nice day"
