Which cast member played Peripheral Vision Man?

I always wondered if this was a live action segment or a cartoon. I assumed it wasn't a cartoon because Cal told the writers to stretch the script in the Pilot and you can't stretch a script unless you have the extra animation to back it up. Am I right?

It was live action I expect, but we dont know wh played it.Seems odd tho that they could take it away without the actor.

I actually imagined it as sort of a Robert Smigel animation, like the Ambiguously Gay Duo. Meh. Wasn't really important to the show or the show within the show either LOL.

Im the pilot, right after Jordan talks to Wes, the animation can be seen on the monitors in front of Herb (the announcer) and on the pole as the camera pans to the left. It could be that the animation is only for the introductiion to the bit.

That's my guess too, the intro is animated. I doubt it was supposed to be a whole animated bit a la Smigel, because the whole point of the sketch is that it's a throwaway bit of fluff to fill up time in the style of those endless returning bits on SNL, like "Tiny Elvis," etc., and I doubt they'd go through all the trouble of animating something for a time-filler.

I AM NOT MONTEL WILLIAMS.

This question was posed on Mr. Sorkin's facebook page. The question was asked as to who voiced it, pre-supposing animation; so if someone else wanted to jump on there and ask about stretching the animation, go for it! Also, didn't get an answer about the other question on this board about who did the news before Simon.

For the S-60 question, we don't know who voices Peripheral Vision Man (which was originally an idea of Josh Malina's, by the way.) Maybe it was one of the writers who left with Ricky and Ron.
