Absolutely tragic that this show did not survive!

I just finished watching the entire season of this show on DVD and I am just in shock that this show did so bad in the ratings! After watching the pilot episode alone I knew this was going to be one of the best series I've ever seen and it certainly was! It had the perfect blend of intelligent humor, captivating romantic tension, and creative dramatic twists that should be the backbone for HOW TO WRITE A SUCCESSFUL TELEVISION SERIES!

I've heard all the excuses for why this show failed, but in my opinion, there is no excuse. I really can't see why they couldn't just move this show to HBO?? HBO embraces shows that have intelligent writing!

The reason I think the show "failed" is because it was to smart. Middle America does not want to have to think when they park themselves on their sofas and munch into oblivion. They also just want their unemployment, welfare, free health care, and mani/pedis.

Yah TV is better when it's misspelling three-letter words.

The point of this show was that TV can better if we only want it to be. People will watch. The best part is, the people that watch quality TV usually have a lot more money.
