Dated looking/ sounding
Anyone else think this show is really dated looking and sounding?
All the scenes are filmed in one of 2 ways. Fixed cameras or over the top walk n talk steadicam shots. In a time when most shows are looking more and more like movies this show looks like movies from 10 years ago. On top of that it looks like its being filmed through a thin layer of vaseline. It's also overlit and the music is terribly distracting.
I'm not saying all TV should be shot like battlestar gallactica but this show just has no zip. Maybe its because I'm an idiot who hates everything sorkin touches but the aesthetic of the show really put me off giving it a serious go.
