I just started watching this

The first season of this show was avaiable to watch and I just spent the 3 last days watching it until episode 19...I tought that was the end of the season and I came here to find more about season 2, and how many were there, when I found out it has been canceled =(
Its a shame, I really loved this show. The amazing thing is that I've always adored watching The West Wing, and those amazing, fast paced dialogues (so fun to watch) but I had no idea both the shows were writen by the same person. At same point I just assumed they were...but really, I want to watch everything this guy writes! I heard is making another series? What is it about? And is the sport's worth a watch too?

Also, I've discovered Im a crazy Matthew Perry fan. I've always loved him on Friends (he was my favourite!), and here he's so charming and smart...and I really felt for him after Harriet's dinner. I havent seen the last episodes, but I wish they explored the drug things a little more, I always love to watch my beloved characters failing (like Dr.Carter in E.R.), and Matt had the right personallity for it (he writes for people to like him)

I adore them all. Im so sorry it was cancelled. But I am glad it didnt end like that (Tom's brother being taken)! I still have a couple more episodes to watch!

The show had a promising start, but went too preachy, too fast. You've got to hook the audience before you start trying to teach them lessons. Even "M*A*S*H*" was funny first.

Sports Night is definately worth a watch! It needs a warning about a horrible laugh track the network insisted on during the first season, but it is fantastic too.

Mr. Sorkin's next show is going to be on HBO (sad for me!), guess he has changed his views about that (which he made clear during S60 and by not taking Sports Night there when offered). It's behind the scenes at a news show; it's his wheelhouse. If you look there have been lots of articles about casting.
