I'm a little late in responding but I lost my password for here. :) Also, I just started watching this show.
I, personally, don't think she was being a bitch. The fact that she even thanked him for saying hi and acknowledged that it made her day was something you don't really hear or see when approaching celebrities. Usually, it's the standard "Thank you" or "Thank you for watching." (Speaking strictly from watching random videos of people recording chance encounters...I need a life). I also think the fact that she was trying to explain the article withOUT denying what was said even if that wasn't what she meant was good. She did say it was truncated (cut short) but she never tried to back-track. Then she was nervous / scared and when he said 'call me a f*g' she looked kind of wounded / sad.
As for Sarah Paulson...I've never met her but in all interviews and comments from co-workers, she's personable, friendly, and kind. I agree, it's hard to know who's genuine anymore and that could be just a professional act. I like her and enjoy when she gets interviewed. I find her enjoyable if not a bit quirky (which is also enjoyable). However, there have been several comments made by people who say she's unstable, mean, and prone to temper tantrums but they can never provide support to these claims. They can't site references as to where they got this information short of 'a friend of a friend of mine's second cousin worked an awards show and she was insulting' type thing but...I don't put stock in anyone's opinions since I prefer to form them on my own. Everyone starts out positive in my mind! :)
