better than the original japan version

And no, the remake was not better. It's not as bad as many suggest, but definitely not on par with the original.
The original, while containing the same storyline, is done better. The scares are far more natural and psychological in nature in addition to being physically scary. While the Hollywood version is overproduced, an aspect that takes away from the overall atmosphere.
The Remake is decent, but nothing compared to the original.
The original was well done as you don't feel the pressures of Hollywood trying to ram the "Are you scared" down your throat.
