What was that camera? (Possible Spoilers)

Towards the end when Jane goes into Benjamins' bag and pulls out the camera which has the pictures of Benjamins' friends with the girl on it. It looks like an old film SLR but she pulls a memory card out of it. If anyone could point me in the right direction that'd be awesome.
Thanks!

It's definitely a Leica.

Possibly a Leica M Series

It’s not an SLR; it’s a rangefinder camera. But what model it is I can’t tell: it looks like one of the M series, as psdhart says, but the flash shoe is on the left, and there’s some sort of cover in the middle. On all the models I’m aware of the shoe is in the centre. In the front view the name ‘Leica’ appears directly over the lens, while the Leica badge is to one side, with no model name or number (you can see this in the scene where she gives him the camera). It may be a limited edition model – the brown finish is certainly unusual.

I can't check as I do not have the film on DVD but was it one of these ones

No, the M7 is a film camera, and this was obviously a digital model. Leica don’t make that many digital models, which makes it all the more puzzling. All I can think of is that it was a custom-made one (which would go with the idea of it being a special present for him). Apparently Leica do one-off customisations, though I hesitate to think what they must charge given the prices of their standard cameras; they don’t go into much detail about what degree this can be taken to, but you can see here: http://uk.leica-camera.com/photography/m_system/leica_a_la_carte/

Saw this again recently and wondered the same thing.

Quick search reveals:
This blog entry: http://cinefoto.wordpress.com/category/terror/
Leading to this page: http://www.johnthawley.com/journal/2009/1/13/pimp-my-ride.html

That is a Leica Digilux 2 fixed-lens digital camera shown with a custom leather covering by http://www.cameraleather.com.

This shows the camera as well:
http://www.cameraleather.com/leica_dps/

I assume that someone else (perhaps in Japan) made such a custom covering for the one used in the movie, since the post says that company "..had never done a Digilux 2" before, and that blog post was made sometime after the movie was.
Worth noting that the camera was already old (2004) by the time it got used in the movie.

Enough of my distraction, back to work... :P
