Scarlett Johansson's extraordinary beauty

When I first saw Scarlett Johansson here, costumed so gorgeously in this terrific movie I was taken aback by her overwhelming beauty. She's so remarkably gorgeous a woman it's breathtaking. It's no wonder she was used to such good effect as Vermeer's beautiful model for the Pearl Earing painting. In my book, she and Linda Darnell (and the young Marilyn Monroe of Asphalt Jungle) are the most perfect embodiment of feminine beauty to ever grace the screen, let alone walk the planet. It's just that.... well... she's perfect and without flaw.

All gorgeous, Sanjay, but the proof of the subjectivity of beauty is the fact that I only agree with one person on this list clearly being more beautiful than Scarlet: Grace Kelly--still, to this day, the most stunning, graceful, and elegant woman I have ever seen. When I was just eight years old and saw her for the first time in Rear Window on Saturday afternoon television, I was dumbstruck. My mom thought it was hilarious because my jaw literally dropped. My heterosexual destiny was clarified that day.

Hot on her heels would be Ingrid Bergman, but I think the others on this list belong in a category with lots of other stunning women. I guess you can tell that my tastes tend toward the classic beauties.

was grace kelly ground to earth kind of woman? or uppish aka victorian kind of woman? she married a king is it not. In terms elegance, sass and earthly kind of woman might have been audrey hepburn. diana was sexy but another high life seeking woman.

Hepburn is another classic beauty. It's hard not to fall for her. The actress in Amelie reminded me of Hepburn, although not as beautiful. I don't know about their real-life personalities, so I'm just going by screen appeal.

She's not even the most attractive woman in this movie. Not even 2nd most actually.

reply

I agree, I can't see the "extraordinary" beauty, she's just pretty.

Based Rebecca Hall appreciator.

I never fell in love with a woman I didn't believe was the most beautiful in the world.

reply

I find her ok, but not extraordinary.

I'm a heterosexual female, and I agree with you. She is a pleasure to watch on the screen.

She is pretty but I don't think extraordinary. To me extraordinary beauty is Keira Knightley, Kerry Washington, Grace Kelly, Loretta Young, Claudia Cardinale, Margot Robbie, Katheryn Winnick, Natalie Portman, Maureen O'Hara, Zoe Saldana, Charlize Therone, Dorothy Dandridge, Gene Tierney, Jessica Biel, Anita Ekberg, Marion Cotillard ect.
