Good tequila is expensive and plus if it's a hot club, they can charge whatever they want.

Yeah I've paid $20 for a shot in NYC (late 90s), it's not very common but really hot clubs can get away with it.

But this is Providence, I'm sure the hottest club in Providence doesn't compare with the average night spot in Manhattan, LA, Chicago or South Beach.
