This is WAY FUNNIER AND BETTER than Guardians of the Galaxy.

I was really disappointed in Guardians of the Galaxy. It was a MEH movie and kinda all over the place. The humor was also kinda hit and miss and kinda forced.

It was the opposite of Ant-Man though. I expected the movie to be stupid, but really surprised how well it is. I think it is the best MCU movie since the 1st Iron Man.

I just don't think 2 comedy Marvel movies are necessary. You only need one. If they had to pick a comic relief in the newer Avengers movies, I would much rather have Paul Rudd than Chris Pratt.

In all reality, GOTG and AM are only connected by them both being Marvel Movies. GOTG would be able to stand alone if they didn't want to tie it into Infinity Wars and such.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the Captain America movies too. They were great as well. I actually really like the first one also and find it underrated. It's usually shadowed by the Avengers and Winter Soldier.

I still think Winter Soldier is still the better movie, but I just think the first one is underrated.

Ant-Man is holding up better for me. I like the characters more. The family theme with fathers and daughters holds things together better than "we are groot."

I actually agree with this. I thought Guardians of the Galaxy was a little over-rated to be honest, and the humor was definitely hit and miss. I actually laughed quite a bit for Ant-Man, though. I also do enjoy Paul Rudd more than Chris Pratt as well.

I really think GOTG was overrated. The cast ensemble was great but the overall story was disappointing and lacking. Also Ronan could have been one of the best villains of MCU but he was a complete waste. They wasted Lee Pace's acting talent. Ant-Man on the other hand was a great film. The story and the cast was great.

I enjoyed Ant-Man a lot more than GotG as well. I kind of find the whole group in GotG annoying to watch, w/ the exception of Groot and Drax (Batista). I don't find all of Chris Pratt's jokes that funny either.

GOTG = 7.5/10

Ant-Man is the better film.

Guardians was a pleasant surprise for me, so was Ant-Man. Now I enjoy both a whole lot, but Ant-Man easily gets my vote as Marvel's funniest movie. The humor is basically more natural and relatable.

By the way, I would rather see Scott as the main comedic relief with the Avengers as well.
