This movie was great.
Better than the that crap-fest called, "Guardians of the Galaxy."
shareGOTG certainly was no crapfest but I've found all the praise it generates to be a bit baffling. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the film it's just that I found it to be weak in comparison to other Marvel efforts. GOTG featured limited character depth and action that really isn't close to Avengers level greatness.
Ant-Man is honestly a better all around film than GOTG.
Agreed.
shareThis^ GOTG was the most overrated movie of 2014
shareGOTG wasn't a crap fest.
shareYes it was.
shareHow so? I'm curious..I haven't really heard anyone virtually talking anything about it in this light.
shareThere's a section of negative reviews listed for every movie on here.
GOTG isn't an exception.
But you brought it up. You didn't want to talk about it, just blurt it out? ok.
shareA lot of every negative post on every Marvel page are just haters trying to cause trouble. They post canned fake hate because they are so bitter over Marvel's success.
shareWhen my wife and I went to see Ant-Man I was skeptical of the plot. I was thinking, how can Walt Disney and its Marvel studios spin an excellent story out of a relatively minor character in the Marvel Universe? Would anyone care about such a minor character? I'm happy to report everything works perfectly. When I watched the film, I was delighted by the depth, reach and underlying message of the story. I came away with the feeling that Marvel's formula for success didn't waiver.
shareSeeing Ant-Man last week was real close. Everyone left that showing smiling ear to ear.
shareThat's why the box office will remain strong and why word of mouth is so good.

shareAwesome movies tend to draw more hate. Go figure.
