This movie was great.

Better than the that crap-fest called, "Guardians of the Galaxy."

reply

GOTG certainly was no crapfest but I've found all the praise it generates to be a bit baffling. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the film it's just that I found it to be weak in comparison to other Marvel efforts. GOTG featured limited character depth and action that really isn't close to Avengers level greatness.

Ant-Man is honestly a better all around film than GOTG.

reply

Agreed.

reply

This^ GOTG was the most overrated movie of 2014

reply

GOTG wasn't a crap fest.

reply

Yes it was.

reply

How so? I'm curious..I haven't really heard anyone virtually talking anything about it in this light.

reply

There's a section of negative reviews listed for every movie on here.

GOTG isn't an exception.

reply

But you brought it up. You didn't want to talk about it, just blurt it out? ok.

reply

A lot of every negative post on every Marvel page are just haters trying to cause trouble. They post canned fake hate because they are so bitter over Marvel's success.

reply

Doesn't matter now!

reply

That you may retain your self-respect, it is better to displease the people by doing what you know is right, than to temporarily please them by doing what you know is wrong.

reply

Don Cheadle may not think so if the Civil War trailer is to be believed.

reply

Don Cheadle isn't even doing PR or the talk show circuit. You know something is up and maybe his run is over.

reply

When my wife and I went to see Ant-Man I was skeptical of the plot. I was thinking, how can Walt Disney and its Marvel studios spin an excellent story out of a relatively minor character in the Marvel Universe? Would anyone care about such a minor character? I'm happy to report everything works perfectly. When I watched the film, I was delighted by the depth, reach and underlying message of the story. I came away with the feeling that Marvel's formula for success didn't waiver.

reply

The soundtrack sounds like something out of the Incredibles. And that is a really good thing.

reply

Bloody hell. The de-aged Douglas looked on point. it's not even noticeable that they used CGI damn.

reply

That smells like Oscar to me.

reply

Seeing Ant-Man last week was real close. Everyone left that showing smiling ear to ear.

reply

That's why the box office will remain strong and why word of mouth is so good.

I really enjoyed this film.

reply

Best movie since Avengers.

I accept your surrender.

reply

Avengers Age of Ultron at any rate.

reply

Has to be a tie at the worst for most fun time at the summer cinema. Both AoU and Ant-Man are spectacularly fun films.

I accept your surrender.

reply

Better than most, yes.

reply

This may have been the best origin film in the MCU.

reply

Iron Man was great and First Avenger very underrated.

reply

Awesome movies tend to draw more hate. Go figure.

reply

Marvel's Contest of Champions' August net gross sale from iOS device players was $6.7 million. That's huge numbers.

Better than expected just like the GOTG movie.

reply

That's nothing to sneeze at that's for sure.

reply

Send it in Gerome!

In Marvel We Trust
I have that bumper sticker on my car.

reply

That's why we call it great.
