Who thinks he is a fine specimen of a man? yummy

reply

I have to admit I didn't care for him at first, but he quickly grew on me. I was hooked by the second episode of LOM, and I loved his Master in Doctor Who.

reply

I loved him as The Master....he did it justice and I bawled my eyes out in both LOMs and in Doctor Who

and yeahhhh he's quite yummy LOL

reply

He can handcuff me, or poke me with his sonic screwdriver anytime. hehe

Captain Jack:. ‘....Savy’

I haven't seen him in anything else but as 1973 Sam Tyler he's what I would call a "slenderoni" = a lean, somewhat slender man who's got "it." There is something about him that sets him apart from the pack. He's not one the usual generic pretty boys or muscle men we get force fed over here in the US. He's actually more like just a regular guy but adorable in a very dreamy way. Is he the same in other shows or is he an actor that completely transforms himself in other roles?

[Edited much later to remove phonetic pronunciation - just because it bothered me. ]

~"Chris, am I weird?"
~"Yeah, but so what? Everybody's weird."

reply

Well,he's those kind of actors who can create a different "self" for every character he plays.I mean you don't feel like you're watching the same man. Some actors play just a different variation of the same guy,but he seems to find a way of putting the unique touch to his characters:)If he's the villain of story, you really hate him ( or love to hate him)or vice versa.

I don't know if they are available where you are ... but I can also highly recommend two other John Simm series, "The Lakes" and "State of Play".

But you ARE Blanche ... and I AM.

reply

Oh I've got both. I broke down and got a hackable dvd player so that I could get dvds from other regions.

State of Play I really enjoy, and not just for Simm. Love the whole cast in that one. The Lakes are okay, and prefer the first series to the second. I've had major problems with the second dvd of series 1, though. I've gone through three different packages and they have all had the same problem with them.

reply

Bummer ... I loved the chef sub-plot.

But you ARE Blanche ... and I AM.

He's a very versatile actor, he's brilliant in LOM.

Infamy, Infamy! - They've all got it in for me!

He's the best British actor I've ever laid eyes on

I am NOT a guy!!

reply

Have you seen him in "The Lakes"....bloody brillant....he looks great naked ;-)

reply

Nope, never seen "The Lakes".... must see now though haha

I am NOT a guy!!

reply

He sure is one of them! But don't forget David Tennant and Tom Hardy. Sigh.

reply

He makes a splendid little grey weak-chinned sanctimonious beaurocrat.

He's great in Human Traffic, though he's a bit younger in it.

With your feet in the air and your head on the ground, try this sig with spinach!
