Culmination of a great period of BBC drama

Hustle, Spooks, State of Play, and LOM plus many more were all made in the early and mid 2000s. Looking back it seems like a bit of a peak for the corporation, I don't think it's drama output has been nearly as strong since, with the honourable exception of Sherlock.

Anyone agree?

I'd say there was a great period of output from the mid 90s until the mid 2000s, starting with Our Friends in the North. So, I agree with your main thrust, yes.
