A2A S1 is a remake of LoM S1 with a female in the place of Sam and it's the eighties instead of the seventies. I thought it was painfully bad and I also thought it gave itself away immediately. I had no idea how they'd wrap it up, but I knew what was up with Alex, and not just because of what had happened to Sam, either. S1 A2A was terrible, lazy storytelling.

I agree with you about A2A season 1....and so I did not bother with the next two. Are they any good?

In my opinion, yes. I enjoyed all of A2A as much as LoM

No. You just need to see the last 2 or 3 EPISODES to really understand the LOM universe
