what moment do he became friends with the big black guy?

so, halfway throught the movie he beats him, the scene ends and is beaten a little more
then at the end of the movie they're basically friends?
what happened? why does he forgive that scumbag?

Didn't you see the scene that explained it when Kevin Spacey opened the bag and found chocolates? After beating him, he offers a deal.

I assume by "scumbag" you mean Laurence Fishburne's character, not Ben himself.

By the end of the movie, Ben had outsmarted Laurence Fishburne; Fishburne just didn't know it. (Ben had his two nerdy friends play the blackjack tables unnoticed, while the security guys only paid attention to him and Kevin Spacey). Also, the lesson that Ben had learned was that there was no honor in easy money; I guess he was thankful that Fishburne was offering him an opportunity to get back at Kevin Spacey.
