Is this movie based on true events? At the end they give some indication of what happened after what happened in the film. Just wanted to know if this movie was based on a true story.
p.s. Decent movie. But I have not seen Alpha Dog so I may not be reliable.
This is an original story, not intended to mirror any real person or event but to make a statement on a rampant problem caused by parents and kids not getting enough time together. You will find it to be a true story of sorts in any affluent community across the country.The jail sentences at the end were a fabrication.
ps...glad you liked it. There are a couple similarities to AD, but it is a great movie and worth checking out as well.
