His Teeth?

Did McAvoy wear some kind of fake teeth or has he since had them fixed? I thought he might have done so to make himself look less attractive and enforce the character's more humble background? It was just a little distracting for me, though not as bad as Cage in Peggy Sue Got Married.

I did just look at a youtube interview with him to make sure I was not imagining something... and he most defiantly has a perfect white movie star set now. I also just watched this movie on HBO and has a horsey overbite which really alters the shape of his face. Since this is almost 10 years old now and I am not all the familiar with his early work, maybe that was how it was... just curious?

James had his real teeth in this film and in most of his films. I also noticed his teeth didn't look too fake in Filth which is a fairly recent film released in 2013, and looked really natural. I think he didn't do much to his teeth apart from whitening and straightening them. I haven't seen his teeth in the last year, so perhaps he finally got veneers to achieve that perfect white Hollywood movie star smile that you're talking about, which is not to blame, because we all would if we had fame and money, and especially as the natural teeth decay and get yellow in time as we age.
