This movie is really really terrible. But I just can't stop laughing whenever I watch it. I really can't decide if I hate or love this movie.
I like pigs. Dogs look up to you, cats down on you. Pigs treat you as equals.
I think there is some cringe worthy scenes, and the overall story isn't great but it is pretty funny. I do give credit to Eddy Murphy playing three distinct charcteres. Especially with those characters interacting with each other so much.

To me its the type of movie that is like a train/car crash.... you know its bad, but you find yourself drawn to watch it.
I remember when it was in the cinema and the trailers for it looked not all that bad, so went to see it and left the cinema thinking "that was seriously bad!".... couple of years later it is on tv and we ended up watching it right through.... and just this year it was on tv again and ended up watching it (even though we know it is bad LOL)

It was on UK TV again over the weekend on Comedy Central (surprisingly, not stuck on the graveyard shift at silly o'clock at night, but at a more reasonable 9pm) and again was a case, "oh no, Norbit!".... gave it 5 minutes, and ended up watching it right through.

Norbit is a truly Awful movie but it's oddly compelling to watch for it's badness, it's like watching a train wreck.....you know it's a horrible thing and yet you can't look away.

I think a lot of people forget that comedy can be absurd and inappropriate. If that's not your thing, that's okay, but it's just personal preference. I personally enjoy comedy that is "over the top". To each their own.
