no season 5, it's canceled
show crashed and burned after the first season
shareGood riddance. Aaron Paul is the kiss of death for pretty much everything he's touched post breaking bad. Besides him, it was just a lame run-of-the-mill sci-fi show now anyway.
shareGood.
shareI didn't even bother watching Season 4.

Seeing as how all human life was destroyed at the end of the series as stated by Dolores, and there's no way two lesbians can continue human civilization by themselves, there wouldn't be a Season 5 unless it took place completely within Dolores virtual Westworld, and that would just be lame.
HBO's mistake was killing off human Man in Black and human Caleb.
I didn't think S2 was that bad. But when they took it out of the park, they killed the reason for the show's existence. I know they were trying to make the point that there was a larger "game" being played in the real world but that wasn't what the show was about.
It all just fell apart in the last season. I have a feeling we were heading to the conclusion that what we saw in all the seasons was a holographic war game scenario. Once they killed people, there was no reason for the show at all. No one cares what a toaster does during the end of the world.
Great! Now you've got me wondering what my toaster will be doing at the end of the world. Thanks!
shareI assumed when I watched season 1 that it was a mini-series. The ending to the first season was a perfect conclusion and they should have left it there.
