Cohen Brothers Worst
Sooooo bad.
shareI disagree. I absolutely adore this film. In fact, I think I'll watch it again this week.
shareYou have terrible taste in movies.
shareI'll remember that next time I watch Lawrence of Arabia, Casablanca, Vertigo, or Citizen Kane, some of my other favorites.
shareThis time, I'm not being sarcastic when I say that I'm glad somebody likes it.
This movie has a lot of fun scenes, some downright great scenes, and some clever ideas... but I found the whole to be vastly less than the sum of its parts. At least someone got what the Coens were trying to do.
Yes, but do you like R.O.T.O.R.?

I don't know who you are, since you seem to have deleted your account, but I'm on your side, and forget what JimmyStrudel says. You *do* have great taste in movies.
sharewhy?? because they proved their were commies in hollywood
shareClearly you've never seen the 2004 The Ladykillers remake, the one and only Coen Brothers movie that had no reason to exist (as much as I love Tom Hanks and JK Simmons).
shareYou can't even get their names right.
shareNo, this was Coen's return after lousy True Grit and A Serious Man (so, I didn't like them, so what). Its been 7 years... have they done anything after this? There was a movie about some musician, if I remember correctly, but after that they have vanished from my radar. What happened, did they lose their audience or didn't they want to direct the same superhero crap like rest of the Hollywood?
shareI agree, it's an absolutely terrible film overall... with a couple of good scenes.
Frankly, the sailor's dance number kept me from regretting that I'd paid to see that mess, the dance is so hilarious and on point, and Scarlett Johanssen's take on the aquatic glamour girl was also worth seeing. But OMFG what a horrible movie overall! A few good scenes in search of a movie, that's all that remains, and those scenes can be seen on youtube.
