About 17 minutes in, Eddie Mannix and his secretary are walking down a hallway
when they are passed by a man smoking a cigarette and carrying an attache case.
Mannix throws the man a quick glance over his left shoulder and then checks his
watch. We see it is exactly 11 A.M.
---Is that man in the hallway Barton Fink?
---Whenever Mannix checks his watch, why is the time always exact?
---Also, why would Lockheed need a man of Mannix's particular skill set?
---Do they have secrets that need to be hushed?
