It's mostly done off-camera. He just turns up with bruises, and the others acknowledge it. I think there's one bit where you see him start to get beaten up in the street, but it's a long shot and not that long.

Yeah I would say they deffiantly try and get that point across without putting too much time into it. It really explains why Antonio thinks so much of Monty and why he acts the way he does. It also kind of explains Giuseppe.
