it was almost the same exact plot. someone has trouble w/ heroin and loses friends along the way and moves to california to write a book. and in both movies, the main character reads the book to an audience like a show. i thought that was very weird but great movies. "Saint" was way better though

well maybe no heroin in "saints" but in both stories, the main character is young and loses his friends as he gets older but luckily comes out okay in the end. they were just very very similar... i definitely liked "saints" way better than TBBD too
