This is a terrific 'coming-of-age- film from a nostalgic point of view

In this blog post, I discuss A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints and other films that are made years after the time they are set. The point being that filmmakers successfully capture the time period and the music that define a special point in time.

Really? The music they captured was definitely of the seventies.

Not everybody in 2014 listens to music that was released only this year. Most people like listening to a variety of music, probably most from a decade ago, or even farther back than that.
