Watched it a second time after 8 years

I didn't remember almost anything about this movie, I felt like if I was looking at it for the first time.

Details I didn't like:
- They turned the time dagger into a useless macguffin, on the game you can use it several times , it would have been very useful and "gamie" on the last scenes with the ancient traps or against the assassins.
- The inclusion of the hassassins was poorly handled, the original game didn't include them, I understand it if they wanted to launch a "movie universe" kind of thing, but they appear almost as much as the prince himself. They could have included a shorter and cooler version of them and give more time and development to the titular game and characters.
- Reduced use of ethnic actors, I understand that it was difficult to hire actors from the original area but I am sure there were several actors from around the world that could look the part and be a decent or good actor.

Overall, a disappointment since I was waiting for a more faithful rendition of the original games or at least a more interesting take.

Now I know why I didn't remember any of it.
