Had alot of potential mike newell ruined it

When the new prince of presia going to release???????? I fed up waiting for it seriously it's such a good movie it's reminding me of the mummy this sort of style and acting :) two years and yet non of big company try to buy rights from Disney wtf :(

I'm a little late here, but I can tell you with absolute certainty that Mike Newell did not ruin theis film. The wrong people were cast, and if I had to guess I'd say that a fair amount of the film's 200 mil budget went into the pockets of the big names in the film, that's why the special effects look crap and the editing is terrible. But this film's biggest problem was the naff, half baked script. Had they only delayed production for 6 months, several script rewrites later it's possible something of value could have been made here. It's a shame they screwed it up so bad and ruined any chance of a sequel being green lit. This franchise in it's current form is dead. We'll inevitably see a reboot within the next 5 years though, probably titled "The Sands Of Time".
