Thank goodness Dennis shows up at the end of the first ep...

Mindy was not funny at at. Purposefully written that way to show the gang need Dennis?

Either way, Dennis gets the pretty much the only laugh with 'shut up bird'.

I was about to say RIP to this season if Dennis was not going to appear in any episodes. He’s my favorite character. Is Mindy going to be a regular? I can’t stand her stupid unfunny frumpy looking ass. She’s so ugly and annoying it’s distracting.

I was so happy when he came back and they got rid of Mindy Kaling i cant stand her at all and Dennis is such an important part of the gang that its just not the same without him.

Not really, he says his leaving at the end of last season but is back of this one :)

I have never seen Mindy Kaling in anything else, but she was terrible in this.
Plus, even is she was making Paddy's successful, the gang would not keep her around because a) she is too serious and annoying & b) they would all feel they could do a better job than her.

The opening scene where Mac is showing of his bodd and they're trying to ignore him was a scene where Dennis was sorely needed and clearly missed. That bit was set up for him. He's trying to make a plan and Mac is coming at things sideways with his nonsense is the exact sort of thing to set him off. If they were trying to illustrate with this ep that Dennis is the secret sauce, they succeeded.
