They have the years 2018 and 2019 already listed on their IMDb page, so they must have a contract for at least that long would be my guess.
shareI doubt it. Perhaps it was delayed a bit but no news about cancellation.
While Kaitlin has "The Mick" (2017 - Present) and Glenn Howerton is rumored to be participating in an upcoming project, I don't think FX is going to ditch a show if most of the cast can make an appearance.
I actually just read recently that they are going ahead with a new season.Although Glenn Howerton's involvement is in question.According to him it depends on whether or not the pilot he shot gets picked up to series.

shareThey were asked at a panel recently about Howerton's involvement and they seemed to evade the question and not give a definitive answer.Seemed to me like they weren't sure he would be back full time or if possibly he might make an appearance here and there.
shareIf the show ends now, it wouldn't be a bad time to do so. The show wouldn't be on the air for too long.
