I was strangely touched

When Mac officially came out.

The was one of the most genuinely sweet moments Sunny has had in twelve seasons.

That was very sweet. I think that's one of maybe three touching moments that they have had on the show.

Only other times I can think of are: Dee giving birth, and Frank and Charlie playing Nightcrawlers.

And the end of the Christmas episode, with young Charlie and Mac throwing rocks at trains.

This was an oddly touching moment, since they've come so sparingly in the series, but it was a real feel-good moment. They all deserve a win every once in awhile. Plus, good for them for finally following through with this Mac story arc.

I didn't think about Nightcrawlers but that was kind of sweet. I was thinking of Charlie's Up fantasy in The Gang Saves the Day.

One of the rare sweet moments that I really like is in Sweet Dee Gets Audited, where Frank asks Dennis what's wrong and Dennis explains his empty God Hole. Frank seems genuinely concerned and caring, even fatherly, in that short scene, before it's interrupted by the usual hijinks.

Agreed!

The sweetest moments in the show are the end of Charlie Kelly: King of the Rats, Dennis singing to Mac in The Gang Dines Out, and Mac coming out in this episode
