So who do you think the ticket belonged to?
I say Dennis.
shareIt's obviously Dee, she is the one who made the decision to buy the ticket, it doesn't matter if is someone else's money, she can pay him back but ticket is hers.
Dennis.
shareDee
shareEither Dennis or Dee. If they were normal people I would say Dee no question. But my guess is if Dee tried to pay Dennis back he wouldn't accept the $2.00, meaning it was still bought with his money...
I love this kind of episide. Macs coming out moment was nice, but I feel like it overshadowed the hilarious and expensive lottery ticket debate.
Which by the way, the arbitor had all the information and still gave the ticket to Mac,even though he STOLE it! Lol classic Sunny.
Possession is 9/10 of the law, so I say mac.
shareThis isn't The Walking Dead where something is yours as long as you claim it first. Dee bought the ticket, dropped it, and Mac picked it up like 5 seconds later. It's absolutely still her property.
Not only that, since Mac picked it up and made no reasonable attempt to return it to the owner(Dee), it's Larceny.
But the ticket was paid for with Dennis' $2, so it's still his
shareThe only thing I didn't get in the argument was why frank had the hero claim when Charlie kicked the *beep* out of mac to safety.
shareDennis. It was his money. I don't care if Dee chose to spend the money on something other than what he requested.
shareDennis's claim to the ticket is flimsy at best. If he had given her money to buy him a Lotto ticket, then it would absolutely be his, but as it stands, no arbiter would give him crap.
